My mums husband had a 318 auto in light met green on a Y reg a couple of years ago before they moved to Canada. Only visible rot was on the rear archs and rear panel, one owner before him. Dont know who he sold it to?

Yes it was Henna red, with Electric sun roof, windows, mirrors, head lamp wash wipe, tinted windows, and central locking, the wheels were of the bottle top type. it was also totally reliable, when i sold it the mileage was approx 145000, the door sills and wheel arches had some rust in them. I believe it was first registered in Bristol. I will PM you if any more info turns up. Cheers.
RX was a Reading area registration IIRC, and I think still is under the current system as well. All BMW UK cars used to have Reading registrations, but they started registering them at the import centre in Thorne in 2005, so they now have Y something prefixesdavidt wrote:csl wrote:AHHHH, now this is what i was after........juicey info!davidt wrote:I was the owner of TRX882Y a 323i model for five years, I think this was a press car.
