that my 316i had a 2L engine transplant. Can't remember the part where this was done, or whether it was a 6cyl or 4cylS14, but distinctly remember remarking to myself how much more poke the car had as I drove out of the work car park.

Is this a sign?

Should I start looking for an engine?

lol, if you do make sure you go higher than 2.0 - Wouldn't be worth it.

Yes,

It means you have to put in a 2.0 S14 engine
