have just bought a 325i convertible, 90/h reg. it has mortorsport seats, gearstick, steering wheel, front grill badge, power hood etc and seems to have been slightly lowered on its bbs cross spoke alloys.
these could of course all be aftermarket mods.....is there any way of telling by the chassis number if it is a motorsport. the prvious owner was very straight and in no way did he imply it was a motorsport.....but looking at the mods it got me thinking...?
how do i know if its a motorsport?

If he didn't imply it was a Motorsport it's likely it's not, he's lost a coupla grand if it is!
I presume it has the Tec II bodykit? And I think it'd have 15" BBS's rather than 14".
Any dealer should be able to tell you though, for a fiver I think.
Congrats on the buy and welcome to the Zone

take your chassis number to the dealer and they should do it free of charge.
Alternatively, contact bharat on here.
