BTB 6Branch picture
Moderator: martauto
I was looking through the zoneshop and on the BTB 6branch manifold, seems like the bigger picture your supposed to get when you click them is out of order. Anyone got a bigger pic of it, especially of the right and center pic.
If anyone care to post it, thanks in advance.

to make life 100% easier undo the drivers engine mount and jack the lump up.
i've fitted these and Racing Dynamics manifolds without doing this tip. It's just time consuming

I've never needed to remove the engine mount and I've fitted these many times.

Been there many times with H&R Anti Roll Bars late at night - effing roll bars, s*tty things, throw em in the bin.....but it's just his way of keeping himself going.

Out of interest, what makes a branch manifold so expensive? Labour, parts, R&D, supply and demand, or all of the above?
Good question.
Firstly there is the amount of material used. This manifold probably has the longest primaries for a RHD car.
You also get down pipes with an X section and lamda boss.
The workmanship is simply excellent and BTB seem to have some of the best welders and every manifold fits properly.
There are details which you cannot see form the outside either. I have seen the insides of many manifolds and what I have seen on some is shocking. Internally these are very smooth, the collectors are very well made especially (this is an area which alot of 6 branches fail on in terms of flow). These details all add up in terms of man hours spent making these manifolds.
Basically, your paying for top quality workmanship and materials and a manifold that has been independatly tested many times to give the highest power gains over any other manifold available on the market.
The only other manifolds I would consider, which are unfortunately no longer produced, are the Racing Dynamics and Hartge manifolds. Even 2nd hand these go for not much less than the 6 branch being discussed.
Thanks

Very interesting. Wish the M30 model was more affordable.
Thanks for all the comments on the subject.
Yesterday i replaced my whole exhaust system.
I fitted a scorpion center and back box, i had a
6branch of unknown origin, thinks its made by sebring though.
So i ended up fitting that with the rest, but what a b****.
Now your talked about how good the btb fits, well this wasn't the case.
I speed a whole day getting one on, but at the end i succeeded and
it sounds like i got 400hp under the hood hehe.

They are a B#stard to fit but worth it in the end, fair play dude
Looks well sweet, did you get it polished?
Yes both the manifolds and x-pipe came like that. Don't know who its manufactured by, only the company who sold it welded there name on it.oguz327 wrote:Looks well sweet, did you get it polished?
Performance wise i can feel a little gain, but hard to know since i changed my whole exhaust in one go and also removed cat.
Mines deffo a BTB, which company did you get yours from, it does look a bit different.
