silver leather

i fancy having a go at trimming my currently vinyl center console in the same leather as my seats. Firstly does anyone think this would look good/bad, secondly does anyone know if it is that hard to fasten the leather around the console, thirdly, anyone know where i can get exactly the same leather???

i have had my centre console re trimmed., and it looks awesome. there is a pic i think in the photo gallery under my convert.

I'm not sure if you can get the exact leather as mine was a whole retrim

thanks mate that was helpful. I don't quote know what you mean by that. Do you mean silver leather is rubbish? Quite a few people have it (it was a BMW factory fit don't you know!!) and many think it is quite a nice contrast with a blue car, or a black car or any car for that matter. Wasn't really asking for an opinion on the specifics of silver leather, not entirely sure you know what silver leather is anyway. cheerio

I was just saying that silver leather on the centre console, wouldn't look very nice IMO.

My centre is the same as the seats/doorcards.
Probably look ok as the grey motorsport converts had a similar colour centre console in leather, see if you can find a motorsport centre and dye it to match, you can get a coloured dye made to match a swatch from your seats.

thought you were thinking i was going to put actual silver coloured leather on my console, bondage style. But I did ask for an opinion so fair play...i am wrong

PS. nav, that car looks beautiful, and from what i can see of the centre console it looks just like what i want, and the same in your motorsport Andy, I think I will try it as there's nothing to lose. If it looks rubbish I'll take it off!
