Felt like I had to share this with you.

It's been almost a month now since I made the long trip to Brum to buy my 325i. Despite breaking down on the way home, costing Ԛ£300 to put right, then on closer inspection finding the 'mint' interior and exterior are far from 'mint', and then for the fuel pump to pack up and cost me another Ԛ£120, and the lights keep going when going over a bump, I am still well chuffed with becoming an E30 owner.

I keep telling myself that it's a 14 year old car and that things will need to be replaced and the morons that black hammerited the chrome trim on the doors instead of buying the de chrome kit have now lost a finger or something in an unfortunate ice skating accident. She's obviously not been looked after in the past but this car will be with me for a very long time so I have got plenty of time to fix her.

At least 5 people a day comment on her at work and say that it is their favourite shape beemer and how nice it is, so that makes all the agro worth while.

Plus my new home during the day, the zone, full of great members, full of information and advice..

I'm loving being an E30 owner...

I dunno what's wrong with me, I think someone must have stuck some wacky backy in the air con system in my building!! If I go to cuddle the car in the car park I will have knee cap myself!

You can't beat old cars, fills up your weekend bolting back on all the old bits that fell off during the week! oh sorry, it's not a Ford...

Funny enough, my 2nd 318iS broke down whilst being driven over to my place when i bought it  that was the fuel pump giving up the ghost too!

Go give the car a  tell her you love her, and will never leave her. She will respect you for it in the morning...

I've got my 320i cab back after 6 months in "storage" while my very kind mechanic prolonged the work on the MOT!!! (Fit supplied tyres exhaust and brakes!)

Its now waiting for April so I can tax it and drive it again!!

Have taken it out on trade plates a couple times and love it!!

I have a 2004 Astra 1.8sri as my company car and its too easy to drive. I couldn't resist a small drift coming off a roundabout the other week! It all feels so cool!!!

lets hope for a decent summer and lots of drop top madness!!

I love owning an E30!!!

I cuddled her last week and security escorted me off the premises.
Seriously 15 years after first wanting to own an E30, despite all the problems I would sell the wife to keep the 5i on the road!!!! well that's if it needed a new fuse or bulb, if it was anything more than that I would need to sell her and her jewellery box full of Elizabeth duke tat!
