this is a great site and i saw a E30 316i 4 door in red today in the car park and reminded me of happy times in my E30 320i Calypso Red.
i loved the E30 and it had been my grandads from new (1990), but a couple of weeks back i be-grudgingly gave it in as part ex (i got £750 for it). unfortunatly there were a few things that started to wear on the car....mainly anything in the form of rubber! (slave cylinder, track rod ends, steering rack rubbers).
if id have had the extra space, time and money id have kept the car for many more years......i really miss the car though!
anyway enough of sobbing over that!......i bet you are all wondering what car i got to replace the 3 series, well its the Z3!
. there was know way i was going to part from the German build quality i had become accustomed too in the E30!its a 2000 (W reg) 2.0l, 6 cylinder, 24v facelift model (i couldnt swap for another bmw without it having a 6cylinder engine
