Is this an easy one on an E30 M3? Was thinking of a proper remap but just haven't got the funds at the moment. Now I'm thinking I'll just buy a "chip" and bang it in!! How easy is it to fit? I bought one for my E36 Evo a while back but never got round to fitting it as it was too much of a mission!

Also, what should I go for? Viper2 (Chipped UK) chips seem to be cropping up on ebay, but what about the "zone" chip?!!

Wait for a remap. Otherwise you could blow the engine up if the chip is no good.,

I was tempted to chip my M5 but am waitring for a remap.

As M5pilot said, wait to have it properly re-mapped.
You will see the best gains from having it mapped, and it's well worth the extra bucks...
