Slipper as in Limited Slip Diff.....should really be referred to as non-slipper!!

Right thought so, slang can be misleading!!
So I have an SE and apart from cosmetic stuff (mine has a factory fit LSD)
the only difference is the short ratio box?? Dunno what all the fuss is about, not meaning to insult the spot boys (and girls) though.
Simon13 what body kit is on yours, I like the look of that front bumper, sexy plexy

It's the famous M-tech 2 kit, the close ratio box is excellent! It drops u back in the good stuff every gear! The gearboxes are not too expensive so find one and put it in! SE with sport transmission, nice

Where do you recon? Ebay / Breakers and how much is not to expensive? It's all relative when your a student
Would love to find an SR box, is top gear the same ratio? I do a bit of Mway driving.
Cheers mate
People always slag off the mtech 2 kit I havent seen the rest but I like the front bumper looks cleaner than the black placcy and body colour bits. Mines Lachs silver too I love it.

Just the lower part of the tech 2 looks quite good, are your bumpers colour coded?

You never know what you have unless you ask your friendly neighbourhood $tealer. I gave them the reg no of my 325i SE, and the guy went "Ooohhh, yours has got everything... LSD, Sport suspension etc" as these were all options when you bought it new. I'm lucky, mine's got electric everything, leather seats, OBC...
So you might have some of this stuff already without knowing!

SR ratio box isnt really a big thing to be honest having driven both a sport and an SE millions of times each.

Yeah, mine's been dechromed too.
Everything but aircon, really... oh, and they forgot to put the Schrick 284/272 in as well, so I'm having to do that as well.
