YAY!!!!!! I love old cars...just when you think you've ironed out all the problems...there's another.

My bootlid has a (fake) leather/vinyl liner and whenever it rains I open the boot and there are water droplets all over the liner. A lot of water is getting in somewhere and the carpet has mould on it in places. Its had a new seal recently so where the hell is the water getting in?

Thanks

hmm, thanks for your help. It's really strange how the water comes in, almost as if its being forced in from the back of the car. The droplets of water all seem to start at the top the liner and run down towards the hinge (yes, I know, gravity...I mean before they have a chance to move with gravity as you open the lid).

So I'm not really sure how or where it's coming in, don't think its any of the above though apart from badly adjusted lid/seal, although it looks fine when it's shut!
