Probabaly no one around at this time but... just got down to London after a 200 mile drive and twice on the way I heard three distinct beeps emit from the what seemed to be the dials/dash. 3 beeps each time. Never had this before... any ideas (it's a 318is, by the way. Thanks.

Even if it does have an OBC,I thought they only "bonged" once


X5 V8 for thrills, CRV for chills, Range Rover P38 V8 for sooooo much aggravation...

No, no OBC. Has got ABS, though, and I did recently have new rear discs and handbrake drum looked at...
Although when I did get into London the electric windows and sunroof suddenyl stopped working (and this when one window and sunroof where open!). But then half an hour later they suddenly worked again so I could manage to close them all before I0 had to park up.

i don't know what that is, but if you are lucky enough to have a check control panel, look out for the red light under 'brake' coming on when you first start up. It's actually a german->english translation mistake and should read 'break'.
If indicates if your e30 is a rusty shed, and should be broken for parts.

The 6 button 'poor man's' obc makes 3 beeps 10 seconds before the end of every hour, when the memo function is switched on...but you have an analouge clock?!
