Removing White Dials?

How are these sets installed. I bought my Is which already had them installed and I think they look crap 8O . I much prefer the originals.

Are these just stickers that are placed over the original dial (which I can remove) or are they the facia of the dial as well?

One thing to note is that when my lights are on the dials that I have seem to be slighty opaque so that the hole dial lights up not just the surround?

Some of them are stuck over, some are replacements. If they are stuck on, they'll look even worse if you remove them.

If they are replacements you can try to put them back to OE but it's fiddly.

Might be easier to get a replacement dash panel and adjust the mileage to what it reads at present.

As Dave says above. It would be far better to find an original second hand cluster and swap it over.
Then you can sell your tacky* white dials to some sap for more money than you paid for your original.

Thanks just as I thought.
Now I have to find some new dials with approx 110 Miles on the clock.
Or is it easy !! to change the milage?

I have a 325i i'm breaking, Dials are £18 + postage if your interested :D

with my whire dials, i just undid the screws on the dials placed them over, and the screwed them back up!
took 5 mins to do!
