Garage is doing a service on my car, so I say how much to put a set of rear pads on while you're at it.... Ԛ£55! surely that's a bit rich... was I right to say don't bother I'll do it?

Hmmmmm.
Going on the price of pads, the labour there is about 30 quid. Which would be about half an hour, maybe more depedning on what garage.
Probably about what I imagine a specialist would charge....BMW would be more I think!!
But, do it yourself for sure, half the price that way. Pads are a touch over 20 quid from www.gsfcarparts.com
