Depends how well you've fixed it on

I'm sure when BMW supplied them from the factory they would have been able to go though the car wash for their lazy owners :D

Yeah, dont use drive through car washes. The scratch your paint and swirl it methinks. Using a pressure washer is kinda neccessary at this time of year though. Blasts all that dam salt out from the arches etc!

its as waterproof as any other primer/ paint (100%), i only pointed it out as some people may have thought that primer is`t waterproof, which could have caused slight confusion.
1k stuff is very thin thats all but its still waterproof,at the end of the day they used to paint cars in the stuff (in the days of cellulose)

Fair do's I just thought that it was more 'chalky' based which absorbed water more, which then causes micro blisters etc Esecially on spoilers etc... Also if it scratched the primer off then "Mr Painter" maybe unhappy!!

Anyway I had the same problem as you with the leak.. And that bolt under the dash you said about had rotted through from behind.. Cheers drewjak

This time of year you cant beat a steamer, the hot water dont half make a difference, especially on the wheels.

The amount of crap that gets in the rear arches and bumper is quite unbelivable :o
