Guess price will depend where you are!

Are you planning on breaking the donar car afterwards, if so i guess you will get some of your monies back. What cars are we talking about anyway?

a 316 Auto ! christ what a combination....

To be honest, I guess a garage will charge Ԛ£200 ish.. could be miles out, but it's just my guess!

You sure it's worth the effort? i assume your car is in good condition and worth throwing money at it. Otherwise save your money for something else

ye its worth spending the money on it.....its in good nick for the year but the main thing is that its been in the family for 17 years so dont really want to get rid of it. spose ill just have to ask a few garages around and if none of them fancy it or its too expensive then i mite have to consider doin it myself with a bit of help off any1 i can find who knows anything at all about the conversion

Apperently its not that hard, if you mave a complete manule doner like you do.

My step brother did it on his 318i but i cant remeber how much it cost him sorry.

cool....i cant see it being too expensive tho because i was speaking to someone today and he said that the auto box could be taken out within an hour if you put your mind to it and all the parts will be on the donor car..

my box is only 3 speed and the manual is 5 speed so it should make it a little faster......and less loss of power through the box too...yipppeee
