Just have to find myself a good E30 when we get there.
If its permanent, then i'd reccomend exporting one as the only ones (well... not only, but very few) post facelift e30's, about 325 sports (325is)
But a guy down the road from my parents is selling or was selling a 318is, for wait for it.....
10,000AUD or roughly 4,000GBP!
AND that wasnt even mint
Yep, we've got a permanent residency visa. Ta ta to the UK, hello Australia!oze30 wrote:How long you going to be there for?RapidE30 wrote:Will be an Aussie resident member next year!![]()

Did look into exporting but looking at £3000+ and thats just for a roll on, roll off ferry. Import tax as well on top!

Have had a look on Oz eBay and there's a few E30's knocking about. I can bide my time once we get there and one should come hopefully come along.

The 100% American is 99% idiot.
Yeah.. but most will be prefacelift and high milage. though, buggar all rust!
They are good, i think we got euro spec cars, cant remember. I know there's a 323 converted to m50 325 i think in oz, Was on ebay looking for 16000AUD.

Another in Sydney. There are some nice e30s here, but as very few sports were imported, and no M3s, both cars and parts are hard to come by and expensive. Forget about Hartge, Alpina, Schnitzer etc. I've imported a lot of parts for my car, so it may be wise to bring a suitcase full if you plan on modding!
