You hero! I did 155 on the limiter in the 840Ci on the Dusseldorf ring road - at night, racing an Audi RS4! needed the front fogs on at that speed.

Top man!

Shame you don't hit the autobahns on the way to the 'Ring, that would mean some fun. :(

Mind you. I didn't see much E30 action in the rear view!! Both cars limited to 155 so no more playtime!

I came back from Scotland a few years ago on the M6 at 125 for a couple of miles. Don't think I'd have the bottle to do 150 though if I had the power, especially in an E30. If I'm ging to do 150 it'll have to be in an M5

Aah, my old neck of the woods - well Hamburg city centre. A better drive is from Hook of Holland/Rotterdam but the ferry is dearer.

I bet you were buzzing. I'd love to take her over to Germany though. Knowing you can put your foot down and not worry about the Polizei coming after you. My Director and co. went over last year in his Porsche GT2 190+ . His colleague was getting a little bit nervous so he eased off.

I crucified a 911 C2 in the Merc E500 I had briefly a few years ago .... (another of Pacerpete's finds!!)

243kph indicated on the M6. LHD's great- you can see the whites of their eyes as you blow their doors off!

How do you go faster for £6K? Stunning car - looked like a stock '124... went like the fcuking wind. The Porsche driver must have sh1t himself!!

Cracking video Shaz - great narration too! Saw an indicated 140 out of my Zone-chipped 2.5 recently, here in Blighty. 150's fab though. Was there alot of wind noise at that speed in a Cab?
