Well I have got my 320iSE Back from by MWM Techie mate and I have had the car serviced, new cambelt and pulleys, new radiator (ouch), rocker cover gasket and new heatshields which meant having to deal with the previous 3 broken studs in the exhaust manifold. Drilled out all three, put in two new ones and the helicoil or whatever it is snapped on the 3rd so we left it. Changed some other gaskets as we were trying to cure an oil leak.
She fleew through the MOT :D
Also
Black Alpina Style Rocker Cover (from a guy that does thenm on ebay)
stainless steel nuts and bolts for the rocker cover from ebay.

AC SChnitzer Handbrake Handlel from the USA
Black MTech Colour Stripes leather Handbrake Cover (waiting to do the gear one when I can get the illuminated MTechgear knob replaced)
Chrome Speedo Rings
Chrome headlight Switch
Chrome Window Winder Switches

Here's the engine bay before the work, you can see how bad the heatshields are.

Now for the bad bits,
I still have an oil leak, we didn't change the sump gasket which I bought so I might have to take it to a frined who has a ramp at the garage to do it for me, but I will wait for a little while.

Not sure about teh MTech 2 wheel as I can't see the tops of the speedo and rev counter when driving now, so I may go back to the 3 spoke. I will wait and see.

The M-tec wheel shouldn't block any view of the clocks. I've had both the small & larger sizes with no problems.

the only thing you've forgotten to do ( IMHO ) is remove the stupid ecotec valve thingy.

good work on the rest, not sure on the chrome additions but, its your car, your Ԛ£Ã”šÃ‚£ spend it how you like dude :thumb:

How tall are you, I am 6ft so its when I look down. If the wheel angle was adjustable it would be fine.

Thanks Dave, when I had the Ecotek valve put on I was told it would be at least 50bhp, the garage even said don't even think of turboing it now, you will beat the pants of an M3 lol

I would like to get the manifold done in black at some point, or polished. :D I am waiting to see how the rocker survives, I may polish up the old one and put that on if the black one starts peeling and looking tatty.

I put the chrome inside as I am used to having chrome on newer cars, and I generally like it, the good thing is its easily reversable.

Looking good dude! your engine bay puts mine to shame- I wouldnt even feed my enemy dinner off it 8O

I dunno about the Handbrake cover, but it certainly seems that you've improved the car and made it more suited to yourself. good work

To be honest I am not sure about the hanbrake cover yet, I baught it of 'mr Gaitor' on ebay, I will decide when I have replaced the gear nob and gaitor. It might have worked better if I had a black leather interior.
