close yours eyes and sit in a calm place look around you theres roundabouts and massive gravel paths and whats this.... you're sitting in a very comfotable seat looking through the passenger window! mmmm gravel....mmmmmmm drifting....... mmmmmmm..... E30.

well thats my bit if you still don't like it you must be an alien or something. come down an watch a couple of night events then you'll be itching to drive it.

redescover what made you fall in love with it in the first place, wet roundabouts or gravel roads or just the cruising and how well everything feels in the car.

How easy is the bad stuff to fix?

I'm in Cape Town on the 5th for a few days... staying on the WaterFront... I'll come round and try to persuade your Mrs that it's a good idea to keep the E30...

put it in third, drive round the roundabout. Floor it on exit.

Can anything else make you feel/look/drive like such a hero?
(dying in the attempt invalidates the coolness btw)

I like four doors it suits the lines of the car and I'd rather have a good four door than youre average two door anyday.

oh yes and my reason for owning an e30 ,well this evening my work mate who owns a golf MK2 GTI has fitted nitrous injection to it ,now he has been ragging me for months that he is going to whoop my ass at santa pod for ages now with this golf even without the nitrous,so this evening i thought lets see what this golf can do ,it already has a vernier pulley, flowed head ,chip, and exhaust and now a 50hp shot of nitrous .well i was plesantly surpriised when following him at about 60mph he hit the nos and floored it and could only pull about a quarter of a car length from me in about 200m ,well he seemed a bit quiet when he got back to he workshop as he now knows the potential of an e30 albeit 23 years old (bloody youngsters)
and all this from a car that only has a flowed head and alpina cam (and leaky exhaust)
so jog 5000 keep it and get modding :D
