Im 3/4's of the way through an engine / box conversion (1.8 to 2.0 and auto to manual).
I purchased a complete donor 320SE 4 door, which has given up (and not without a struggle!) its engine, box, prop, peddle box etc. I have yet to remove the OBC - but just wondered what else usually sells and which bits I might as well bin, before scrapping the rest.
Need to raise some money quickly as a) Ive just been CCJ'd - yay and b) need to get this car on the road as Ive been borrowing cars to get me to and from work for the last 5 - 6 weeks
(apologies to those who contacted me about the radiator I needed â┚¬Ã¢â‚¬Å“ as above, not having a good time work/home at the minute)
Thanks for any assistance
Iain

I find its the really obscure things that sell!
stuff that go quickly: Glovebox, gearknob, instrument clusters, steering wheel, headlights,, foglights, radiator,
stuff that should sell but havent yet
rear lights, grilles, ecu, jack, triangle, chock,
stuff that i am stuck with and am tempted to scrap with the next car i break: front seats, centre console, handbreak gaitor, speakers.
I will be breaking another car soon and it has a small OBC soon what do i need to take out? can i just unscrew it and sell it like a clock or is there more to it?

people generally don't want the 8 button OBC in my experience if it has the 16 button OBC just keep unplugging things that are attached to the back of the computer and keep going. you'll have one loom that splits into two from the back of the computer one goes behind the clocks and into the indicator stalk which you also need for it to be complete, another part of this branches off down inrto the footwell to a gong (a little black box thing). back at the other end the wires go through a couple of plugs etc and through the bulkhead to the front of the car where the horn and thermometer are. it took me about an hour an a half (my first time today) but it's easy enough the loom is seperate from the main car loom and just keep unplugging there are about 15 things guess to unclip.
