Both! Part of the centre is plastic, the main cowling is metal, mine are on BBS 16's

I've seen some sporting this part number: 36.13-1179 828 61.247.00

Are they ok for standard 16" M3 rims?

That number looks a bit long!

I have check with the Online ETK and this is the graphic and part no. link

It shows the various colours, but the fitting is the same for 15 or 16".

I think they're the plastic ones from a 5 series. They have the same 17cm diameter so will they be ok?
