I don't visit scrappies often, but i will keep an eye out for you (online too) what is it you need? Just a box or will a rustbucket or cat c or d with good engine for peanuts be considered? oh and what year range?

i know of somewhere who will have one on the shelf but it'll be pricey... my E34 M30 530 manual gearbox cost me Ԛ£200 from them but it was the last bit i needed and i was desperate!

think most were auto and from from 92'-95'

6 speed manual's if you find one ,your looking at around a Grand

530 V8 had a 5 speed box, 540 V8 had a 6 speed, both boxes are unique to the V8 and as a result ,expensive due to rarity and demand from the kit car fraternity.
