.......if BMW have some sort of site where you can enter a part number and you get the price for it ?

www.realoem.com but the price is in dollars, and probably out of date but it should give u an idea how deep to dig in your piggy bank

I've downloaded prices that are imported into the ETK in the past, but have no idea wheere it was from.

i downloaded mine from a thread on e30zone try searching for it there were options on which year your etk was as which version you download

right you should all be getting it soon ......it has a file attached which explains how to load it onto the etk. its really helpfull because as soon as you get the part number its one click and you have the price with and without the vat

Extract this zip file to somewhere on the hard disk.
Assuming you have extracted into the root directory of C drive then to install :-
1) Run sysadm
2) Select the menu option EPC > Load prices
3) Enter the path of the disk1 directory (c:\bmw0702\disk1\) and continue
4) When prompted enter the path to disk2 (c:\bmw0702\disk2\)

when you first install the etk the first icon you will get is sysadm(system admin) you then load the rest to get the etk icon .....it is the first icon you need(sysadm) when you have it click on the tool bar at the top, click epc and a drop down menu will appear, then click load prices,then fill in on the line exactly as the 2 disks say in exactly the same case (the 2 discs are obtained by clicking on 0702 and it will open into the 2 files you have to load) hope this helps
