With my job i end up diving quite a few different cars vectra's to A4's alsorts realy and i just got me wondering what creature comforts would you like to have on your E30?
i dont mean engines before you start!
i will start.
1. easy up/down windows
2. cup holder
3. the thing i like best, when you just tap the indicator up or down and it does 3/4 flashes with out you holding it there ( i know am lazy

) for when your swopping lanes on the motor way.

You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity

2. cup holder
get my back up everytime, a car is not really the place for liquids , other than those consumed/circulated by the engine.
I vote ban cupholders, there's enough shit driving as it is, without the one hand on the coffee, one on the mobile brigade.

I think you will find if your spotted drinking whilst driving you can be fined for driving without due care and attention.
There was a story a while back about a woman who was fined for drinking water whilst stopped at trafic lights. I think she got off as the car was stationary.

I do like the fact that in my toyota I can adjust the level of support for my back with a lever thing on the seat... (ok boring but nice on long journeys!)
The e30 has one pointless extra... you get in your car with you nipples/'nads so cold they are gonna drop off and your OBC goes "ping" to tell you its cold!!??!

hmm-good question.
I'd like seats that lay out completely flat and a detachable steering wheel. I seem to spend a lot of time sleeping in my car....
as for cupholders, only car i'd have them in would be a bently, and he'd be called Parker

Memory seats, so when you have your car serviced or MOT'd you can press a button and get your seat back how it was.
Adjustable reach steering wheel, I want mine closer to me.

Another one for easy up/down windows (as in the type that go all the way up/down from one slightly prolonged press of a button).
Then again it would just be nice to have a car that has everything working

Personally dont like modern cars, so its absolute bliss to slip into my E30 and feel right at home with less gadgets, technology that was simpler and just generally put together better.

Beardy matt had them on the e36 2.8 he had for abit and was showing them off at ferrybridge meet.
they only looked like a motor attached to a standard linkage! IIRC
