You must be a hard man to please then Rags. I thought the M1 stuff was really interesting and info on the E30 M3's was good too. Explaining the differences EVO's etc.

And the profile of the E34 M5 if anyones thinking of engine swap's etc!.

Cheers Gareth.

I went to about 6 different newsagents this afternoon trying to find this and none had it :(
Looks a good read to me e30 m3s/e36 m3 vs e36 evo/e28 m5/320is/m1 etc
Cheers,
Robin

i can't believe they posted a pic on the front page of an M3 with a popped headlight ... shabby. The M3 with 230k miles is impressive though! (same one with a popped headlight)

The 320iS articles got me thinking to ... could get expensive. :?

I was just going to post something about that headlight, bet the owner feels a bit silly.

Good read though.

I've been in almost every newsagent in Essex for the last fornight looking for any of the BM mags and not found one...going to have to subscribe me thinks as they seem to be really popular round my way and fly off the shelf faster than Shaven Havens!

You may find that the "popped" light isnt actually popped, but the owner had his parking lights on.

I know i should be loyal to the e30 but i couldnt have given 2 sh1ts about the m3 article, i bought the mag for the M1 article. Only the CSL Batmobile is on a par with the M1 for me. Its the first BMW i remember seeing ever and thinking it was a Labo until my dad corrected me. I cant even remember how old i was, i was so young but i knew i liked it. No offence to M3 owners, but I havnt even read the M3 article yet, but ive read the M1 one about 4 times.

I didn't think the E30 had parking lights, i know mine doesn't. Plus if it was parking lights surely the sidelight would be on rather than dipped beam?

As Bob said, the dipped beam doesn't come on when engaging the parking lights, only the sidelights!! Oppps!!

I was just flicking thru the mag again and i did wonder if that was you (both called "kev" and both with Cecottos, i thought it possibly a bit too much of coincidence) Nice car fella! Theres only 1 minor thing i'd change on your car (purists beware) ...i'd stick Dave Gambles split rim BBS on there and that would be it! Love the colour and the front lip is a beastie!
