Ok, called my mate in Germany.
He says he can get hold of 2 sets of these in 16" within a week or so. They would then need to be refurbed, which he does himself to an amazing standard (its good enough for c76jon to have a set himeslf). This would take about 2 weeks.
Price would be Ԛ£1200 a set plus shipping to the UK
This is a lot of money but not unreasonable at all, these are SOOO rare!
Im still trying to figure out a way to pay him for the set he has ready for me

I think the AC Schnitzer type 1s are where its at
and not so common as the Alpinas.
