Quickshift

I need to reduce the throw on my shifter as it hits the trim when putting in reverse so sometimes jumps out.

I've got a 325iSport with E36 M3 conversion, m3 box as well.

Now, I assume I would have the m3 shifter (doesnt look like e30!) so what are my options?

Possibly a question for an e36 forum i dont know!
