As it is i would say its worth £7.81 in cash, a half eaten sandwich and a rubber duck.

Take off all the crap and it will be worth good money as it looks a nice tidy car.

Where is Steve Tigger when you need him ?, probably helping 'Glass's' with octobers black book ! :)

P.s DJ B4L, that interesting bit of trim work is known in zone circles as a 'council retrim' , though you might not want to use that description in your ad !

I also was going to say 'take all the crap off' but I was so scared of you all shouting at me that I went away and hid... the 'zone has become a dangerous place these days. :?

Does it have FSH? Any middle-aged buyer who wants a second car will be interested in SH first, and they pay the most money. Get the dent taken out of the front wing - should cost 50 GBP per panel for professional paintless-dent-removal.

If you want top dollar, get BBS and fit a matching set of tyres.

I thought I was being harsh thinking about the crap added but you lot just jumped straight in!!! Poor lad.

As everyone else says, get rid of the additions (apart from the M-Tech2 wheel which looks good btw), sell them and put that towards your final price.

No matter what you do lose the rear spoiler!!! please!!

The interior isn't *that* bad...hard to tell exactly, but that looks not dissimilar from an M3 Evo2/Cecotto style. Not my thing, but it isn't awful...

However the wheels are truely ghastly on that car and would be worth much more sold seperately to some unsuspecting Chav!
Similarly the DTM style tail pipes...loose them, tidy it all up with 15"BBS rims and you're looking at £3-3.5K, I reckon.

Is it because of the seat base?

Rest of interior looks standard including the piping.

IMHO yes

the interior looks original to me - I saw a few Neons when I was first looking to buy a cabbie

does it have SH?

Looks original to me too, apart from the drivers seat base, with the patched leather/cloth, all the designs I've seen have either been all cloth with coloured piping, or leather bolsters with coloured piping, and cloth seat pads.

it had full sh but the previous owner says that he lost it while he was moving home.

i got a original receipt of him when he brought the car which was in 2003 i spoke to that garage and they said they did give the owner a folder of recipts and service history.

which did sound genuine as when i brought the car he couldnt find the v5 either but i ordered one from dvla which showed he was the previous owner.

I would say about 2500-3k, I only say this because i saw a standard one in exactly same colour and interior, with only 32,000 miles on the clock and one owner from new, looked brand new. It was up a £3995.

if you want a guess I'd go along with 2.5k, BUT BUT BUT I think this car has a narrow market

1.8 auto which suits old people, but in a bright colour and mileage is maybe a bit high for old people and the missing SH won't go down well with any potential buyers.....

I think you might achieve 2.5k but you might have to wait for a while, especially now summer has ended

just MHO

good luck selling

All design cabs had 100% cloth facings on the seats, all the vinyl bits in DJ B4L 's car have been added by Stevie Wonders car trimming cousin. The sad thing is all the original sections are available from BMW at reasonable prices.
