Average price, but I'd question the wisdom of doing it... How long's it gonna last?
E30 in need of wiring loom smoke since April '11...

when they 'remove rust' will they rub down and replace metal where needed?
If so with new metal sounds ok as long as the repaints blended in well, can be difficult if original paint has faded but good body shops know that.
Its always good to keep contact as the work is being done cause its only an estimate and more work may need to be done.

Worth trying another couple of places, you might get it a bit cheaper.
Prices for bodywork seem to be all over the place at the moment. A mate of mine had 3 qoutes for a rear panel and paint on an Audi and there was nearly £250 difference between the highest and lowest.
If you intend to keep the car try to use someone recommended by a satisfied customer.

i was also quoted £250 by another bodyshop which i thought was to cheap and judgeing by some of his work it was crap these tho the standard of work is good.
his sales pitch was good untill he went on to tell me about a guy that goes back every year to have his rust done lol
