er 205/55/15's are one recommended size.. have you got the handbook to hand? I would have thought the 45's would give a pretty bumpy ride!

205/55 r15 is standard fit, 205/50's an alternative, but 195/45's pushing it really... You'll probably find that the 195s are a fair bit cheaper though...

What Gwynley said!
I've got 50s on the front of my bbs & 55s on the rear. The wheels that are currently on the car have 55s all round though, & tbh I prefer them! Slightly less harsh, which is quite noticable with my suspension setup.
Now I've got to decide what to go for on the 16s!

205/55/15 are the standard size but you can get away with 195/50/15 which funny enough I have a set of 4 that I am just about to advertise. They came on a set of Hartge wheels I bought. They were taken off when i had them refurbed. They have tons of tread and would suit you if your on a budget.
Let me know if your interested.

Make me an offer. I paid £280 for 4 wheels and tyres but I was only really interested in the wheels.320stu wrote:

I have never posted anything that size, wouldnt ever know where to start. Are you planning to attend any events, as i could tke them with me, im doing the Santa Pod Ultimate BMW show on 23rd September and could take them with me

I put 205/50/15 on all round. Looks loads better than having balloons as tyre walls! lol!

as was said 205/55/15 is the standard size...
I have 225/50/15 on the stand BBS rims and a) they fit and look fine b) they are within a hair of the standard rolling radius so give the same speedo readings
use http://www.paspeedo.com/calculator.htm to check it out
my car with 225/50/15 Bridgestone S02 on 7x15J BBS rims (car is for sale, btw)
