my touring has a petrol leak from the filler point on the rear side of the car down to the petrol tank. there is a pipe between this and i think this is my problem. the rubber flange on the filler pipe on the side of the car is corroded but there is no rust on the rear side of the car. Does anyone Know where i could get a cheap replacment?

Is it coming from the pipe that literally goes from the filler hole to the tank? Could be a metal fuel line, they are known to corrode like a bitch. I had the same problem with my 525i, now I'm having to have the whole lot replaced, if you can see exactly where the fuel is coming from I'm sure someone here could advise better than me

thats exactly it. called feul filler pipe £130 + vat from bmw bromley. GSF and euro car parts dont supply this part. i'm getting rid of the touring so i would rather get a second hand part

the small bit of pipe attached to the fuel tank leading to the filler neck is also bad for corroding and means a new fuel tank.ive just bought one a couple of weeks ago and theyre not that expensive at around £90 from ECP.

Got a second hand one the other day for £40.00 from a mate its in good nick. bought it because my cab tooo low and hit a humps, because of the plastic strips next to the my eyes were decieved at first to where the leak was so i got a tank. but it just a fuel line between the filter. im a knob. got a filler pipe for £15.00
