Unless youre running huge HP, I would of thought new standard mounts would be ok.

I was thinking more like a monster turbo conversion with 400+bhp.Tng21 wrote:well ive only got a 323i that will have a few smaller minor modz to it so no major power. He has a 2,7 so might be why he got em
Although as koos said, if the mounts are too rigid something else will break/bend instead

A mod you CAN use without bringing them in from the states or using solid mounts is to use uprated Escort RS2000 mounts from www.rallydesign.co.uk They fit straight on and are essentially just an uprated rubber. I've had a set in one of the race cars for nearly three seasons now and they still look as good as new!

Hi there,
The easy way to upgrade your E30 M20 motor mounts is to use the OEM E12 528 motor mounts.
The only mod you have to do is to grind of one of the small locating nipple.
They are rubber, and their diameter is just a bit bigger. Common upgrade and cheap.
