Shame, I have got a soft spot for the tech 1's so few decent ones aboutTheo325 wrote:The thing is a weapon, good thing I've got 10 bbs for it basically! Looking more likely that I will frag it after it's been to the ring. Still unsure though.

I always suspected it was going to be a breaker, just hoped that it might be possible to restore - it really isn't though. I really don't want to pull a sport apart, such nice cars, and this one has some oomph too. I'm very impressed with the C/R box, wasn't expecting a big difference from the standard gearbox really.Theo the Sport is not long for this world then mate ? Will you scrap it once the MOT is up then

Been odd this August, seems like Summer is moving back. Was really nice in June!
I'm sure when I was a youngster it was hottest in August!

just woke up, kainda late now

was enjoying the rain a bit too much last night and while giving it some on my "private test track" my mainfold gasket decided to eat itself and exit stage left! on closer inspection my manifold was missing 2 studs and 3 nuts! so no wonder really!
anyone got any advice for me for repairing! can get to the top studs and nuts, but the ones underneath look like a right ar e hole

I've got the same excuses as you Graham. It's the same distance from mine as it is from yours. As I explained in another Gaydon thread somewhere, after 30+ years I can't seem to get excited about shows any more.
Plus, I've spent £500+ on my car in the last 6 weeks. £200 was essential to keep it on the road and the other £300+ was non-essential. That's like the next 6 months car budget blown already, so now I'm grounded until I can get some of my gear sold to recoup a bit.
