Read a few things recently that make me wonder if anyone else has thought of putting a nicely tuned engine from the 535d into an E30????

I quite fancy the idea, but i'm very tired and silly though

I wonder what sort of exhaust noise you could get from the diesel lump!?!?!

Anyway, if someone would like to get on with it and it goes well, they can do my car when i've saved up!!!

i thought of it, not to do myself, but jsut as a alturnative,, loads of torque, wicked economy, would prob pay for itself in the extreme long run. or in my case, within a year or two!
