Don't want to tarnish any breakers in the devon/somerset areas

but...........................

I spent the last 2 weeks phoning around for a scrap pick up in taunton for my gutted 525e doner - after various "no we don't collect but we do take them if you deliver" i found one who would collect today.

problem is - it was nicked from my drive Saturday - and the only people who would have known are the breakers .

I don't know the exact value of scrap rust but it strikes me that somebody was reaching for £30 worth of germanic red stuff.

I've had to report it to the police which is annoying coz the thieving toerags did me a favour anyway.

Anyway, if you see a royalblau E28 with the vin ground out in your local breakers.........................
