newbie here. just got my 1st BMW

just got my first BMW a couple of days and for my bday which is tomorrow and i am lookin at doin a couple of things to it before i put it on the road next month.
the car is H REG 2door 316I in burgnedy i cant spell.

my 1st idea is to get leather seats in front and back as i gotta replace the drivers seats. can some1 let me know if its possable to get leather for the 316 or will anything else fit.

the 2nd idea is to get the windows tinted so if i do change to leather seat it wont be so hot and they wont crack up so easy due to the sun

Welcome mate, as far as seats go, leathers from any other e30 will fit (apart from touring/cabby)

Any 2dr E30 interior will fit your car, depends on your budget that is leather recaro will set you back £500... leather SE interior £250-300ish.

You can look in the for sale section here, try ebay or breakers, sometimes BMWCC though E30 parts are becoming less available there (mostly E46 & E36).

I have heard of folk fitting 4dr seats into a 2dr, must be a bit of a bugger getting in the back though!

i dont think i will be abl;e to convo up with u on the 20th of aug. as i am hopin to keep the car off the road till end of aug so i can do a few more bits and bobs to it. also my dad is goin to pull a bus in plymouth for charity that day also so better go and support him.

thanks for the help on the seats i really like the look of leather in a car and its a bit easier to keep clean and stains off

i washed the car today and took some pics. and changed the wheels i wud like some opinon on the alloys which ones look better where shud i post all the pics of the car and wheels too
