bmw power figures

me and my m8 r going to a rolling road today, just wondered;

a) what the figures are for the IS 136bhp/???ftlb

b)if these are measured at the flywheel or at the wheels???

found the figures, but still dont know where they are taken from??

134bhp@6000rpm

127lb/ft@4600rpm

its about that i think it varys thought. There is even rumours BMW underestimated the IS for some reason

Tims standard running IS recenlty made about 110 bhp AT THE WHEELS on sheps' rolling road

post the results up with the before and after of that cone ASAP mate im well interested!

is 110bhp a relistic figure for the at the wheels bhp?

110bhp at the flywheel is really really poor, what was wrong with it?

sorry at the wheels

its about 140ish at the fly i think but it made basically stock figures for a 15 year old engine. fuck knows what it will make with 2.1 and ITbs ey!

Appletree, are you doing a before/after run yes?
