Hi all,

Just thought I'd get my E30 on the map. Here she is.....

Image

1988 325i Sport in Diamond Black

167000 Miles with F.S.H

Dropped 60mm on G-Max Springs and Shocks and sitting on 17ins OZ Wheels.

Full Black Leather Interior

Front Brakes Upgraded to Wilwood 4 Pots and drilled and vented front discs

Scorpion Back Box (sounds nice, but want full SuperfSprint/Sebring System with 6 Branch)

Is apparantly chipped and has a cone filter, though this is pretty old and falling apart now!

So, there you have it, my pride and joy! I'm dead chuffed with her since I got it 4 months ago. What do you guys think of her? Also, I am based near Watford and wondered if there was anyone near who is into these cars as all my mates drive Corsa/Punto shite.

Cheers

Cheers all, much appreciated!

Yeah the rims sit too far in. One item on my wish list is a set of Alpina alloys with hopefully a wider offset. Does anyone know if genuine ALpinas only come in 16s or not?

Will get some more pics on when I get a chance!

Looking sweet dude :)
Original alpinas are mainly in 16s only unless you get a 5 stud conversion, there might be a few pair in 17s on four studs but i think these were custom made.

Its got a de-bagde bonnet and boot! I wondered if someone would notice that!

To be honest, I bought the car with this already done to it and who ever did it has done a pretty crap job of it! They've used filler instead of leading it properly and it shows pretty bad. It's even started to crack a little on the bonnet!

Still, might have to get that sorted one day too! I quite like the de-badged look so am going to keep it that way.

I know lowering it so much ain't to everyone's taste (including insurance) but I couldn't resist, I just love to look personally!

Thanks for the opinions chaps!

What size spacer would you suggest then? Also, will I have to get longer wheel bolts aswell?

Thansk for all your comments and advice guys! Might be getting some more pics up on this thread later today, if not this week at some point!

if your going down spacer route think most OZ wheels are 35-40 mm offset so a 10-15mm spacer with longer bolts would be the best route. If you take one wheel off it should tell you or to save your energy, just search on google or something that particular make of wheel and type and should tell you on alloy wheel sites.

whatever the size of spacer you get, get the equivelent extra length of wheel bolt..

try and get proper spacers also, rather than halfords cheapo's

Thanks mate, but the boot ain't too bad, it's just the bonnet! May take it to BMC bodystyling in Kings Langley to get that sorted, anyone heard of/ used them?

Will think about wheel spacers, but I may just wait until I opt for a new set of wheels and look for some with a wider offset or something!
