Hello
I'm new here and I have a quick question. I did a VIN check and it said my car came with Option 704 M SPORT SUSPENSION. Is there any way to check this? I mean, do the spings have a special color, or something that can be easily seen? Thanks.

I think they are a different colour, normal springs are black.

Post up a pic and i will be able to say by looking at the ride height. Sport (mtech) springs are about 15mm lower.

Welcome to the zone by the way :)

I think all the springs are black, they just have little bits of paint on them.

Easiest way is to go to the dealer or call them up with you VIN number, they will be able to tell you.

Welcome to the zone!

What car is it by the way?

It is a 1990 325i sedan. I'll post pics later in the Photo section. I already did a VIN check but I wanted to double check . I checked my front spings and they are black with green stripes. Does green mean normal springs?

I didn't realize that sedan meant US-spec. My car is Euro spec, It came straight for germany, and the OBC and all is in german.

Sedan isn't neccesarly US-spec. its just a US word. In the UK we use Saloon.

same with fender / wing and hood / bonnet.

are you in the UK?
