I just fitted my Sport seat in the Touring. I'm well disappointed - even at its lowest height, I'm sitting higher than I was on the standard seat. No, the original seat isn't badly sagged (if anything it's in better condition than the Sport seat).
Does anyone know if there is a difference between the saets in pre- and post facelift cars?
Someone please help. I've had enough depressing news this week!!!
Stuart

BTW. If it makes a difference, the original seat gets its height adjustment by pushing the recliner lever down. The Sport seat has a seperate lever.
This is why I no longer drive an E30......

You have two adjustments on the recaro seats, little lever tilts the front up and down, large lever moves whole seat up and down.

Not sure if that will help or not.... :D

It certainly does!! Thanks for that Fozzy. I'm slightly happier again now.
......... And I'm sat a lot lower too!

Cheers
Stuart.
