Well, christmas time I stripped the rear end of my 325i to put new bushes in the rear beam. While it was stripped I thought I might buzz abit off and hamerite it. I ended up doing the whole back end (from the back of the front seats back). I then brushed up the crap and have just got round to weighing it. 6Kg! I reckon thats not a bad saving considering it cost nothing! If I do the front as well it'll be near 12Kg. And with a set of perspex windows and a fiberglass bonnet it'll be looking a better weight! Especially when it gets its 318is engine.[/img]

not only that it gives better reaction times as the body is more relaxed :P

Ok, easy!
I didn't mean it as 'what a massive weight saving'. I hamerited it to prolong the life abit and so I could do some seam welding and plating aswel.
I just thought some people on here might be interested to see how much.
