I'v sold a diff on Ebay this week, and as I'm not a con artist I have charged the bloke Ԛ£5 for my time and cardboard packing it and Ԛ£38.50 via UPS to post it. So Ԛ£90 is crazy, tell the guy you'll organise a courier get his postcode, and then go on the UPS website. I recon the diff weights between 35-40kgs.
Turns out the guy who won it on ebay is in Durham so I'm delivering it!

Twas off a D reg 325i which had had an LSD as a factory option. Can't if it's a large cas cos I've only ever seen the LSD ones. Looks big though. But I can lift it with 4 fingers now it's off the subframe (I'm only 154lbs and 22 yrs old)

If it's 6 then it's a small case diff and a lot lighter, if it's 8 then it's a large case diff.
I wouldn't think you could hold a large case diff with your fingers, they are VERY heavy.

Modified LSD fitted, within 250 grammes of standard LSD large case diff'.

I don't know if anyone had this idea, but as we all live in certain in different part of the country, surely we could make up some kind of delivery service of our own?
So for intance, I shall be driving from london to Cardiff in two weeks time, if anyone needs anything delivered, let me know. And i'll see what we I can do,
Probably also, drive up through wales and back Via chester (hopefully to see Si316...) and back down past B'ham.
Maybe we could have a section for this? If you need something delivered from where to where, then see if anyone is driving it. Less money spent on crappy delivery companies and more on fellow Zoners...

Gwynleym10 bloody great idea!!!!
One of the Mods should start a section. I drive from Leeds to Newcastle every 2 weeks and would be more than happy to throw somthingin the boot. People could post their intended trip, or where their par is going from - to and every one would live happily ever after.
