Now dont you just hate selling motors at the best of times and then you get the timewasters to boot.
I have had several conversations with this guy from birmingham. He had seen my car on piston heads. It was basically the same write up as on here, which i thought was a fairly detailed pitch and enough pictures.
Anyway he seemed ultra keen and said he wanted to come down asap. So from last night we agreed this evening. I had plans but was going to put them off for a bit.
He said last night to arrive at mine about 7pm. This subsequently became a lot later considering he was still in Birmingham at 6:40. So i had to write my night off then.
Anyway him and his mates turn up and give it the once over.
"Can you give us a minute?" yep no probs.
Anyway the guy who is supposed to be buying it is sitting in the back of his car and sends his mate out to tell me that basically its not the right one for him because its not the right bodykit, interior, gearstick, and steering wheel.
BLOODY HELL!! I mean you surely new what you were after once you had seen the advert. He said it looks different in the pictures!! How the Fook can that be. It looks the bloody same!
So in general a complete waste of time. Rant over.
I hate time wasters!!!

If he wants a car that specific why didnt he ask if it had exactly the spec he wanted.Geoff wrote: Anyway the guy who is supposed to be buying it is sitting in the back of his car and sends his mate out to tell me that basically its not the right one for him because its not the right bodykit, interior, gearstick, and steering wheel.
Unless he was useing it as a bargening tool ie "it not exactly what im after so ill offer £XXX less"
