Hey!

I have recently changed my 17" alloys for a set of 15"bbs and got new tyres on them. I have also sorted a fuel leak by repacing the hose.

My car has changed hugely, i am loving it! It pulls away much faster (??!), no smell of petrol, the fumes are cleaner i guess due to the correct mix etc.

And the handling is amazing :D , it is uncomparable to the 17"s. I took it down a counrty lane this evening, and was litrually laughing (looking like a prat lol) as the drive was so great. You can throw it into the corners now and it sticks like its on rails. Now i think i understand the true e30 feel i wasnt getting before. :D :D :D

Well done, now you understand why the rest of us own E30s :)

With a decent suspension kit you'll be laughing even harder

I done the exact same as you fella LOL

I had 17's on for about 1yr 1/2 and could'nt understand what the comotion was about when everyone was saying the E30 was great at handling........i thought it was crap!
Got BBS's, refurbed and chucked them on and i did the same as yourself and could'nt beleive how much fun i had missed out on, i even considered selling the car!

I've now got Koni adjustable shock's all round (Courtesy of Dan-318is :D ) and also have changed the spring's to H&R -60mm -40mm (Courtesy of bigdek  ) and what a difference. I can throw it so hard into a bend and it just stick's :D
Plus i've stuck on some new Kumho boot's to compliment everything else and i am very impressed winkeye
Word of advise, put 28 psi all round and you will get the best and full effect of having the BBS's on

Next bit to go on are the ARB's with polybushes :D

John, i remember you saying you did this and the difference it made, one reason why i did it also! I was the same as you, thought it was a crap handeling car lol, and thought mine was broken! I may put on some mtech suspension springs, or H and R if i save up! :D

Paul ps. i am using 28 psi all round at the moment. :D
