dismantling sport seats

Folks,

I need to remove the material of the bolsters from one pair of seats and put them onto another pair.

Anyone know how to seperate the knob from the metal spindle that adjusts the extender panel at the front ?

Any one on here done anythoing like this before ?

those sort of things are normally held on by an allen screw on the side. it will be small and recessed on one side.
