Couple of questions.

I was going to meet Kos today and managed to have some guy drive in to the back of me and bend by bumper, I don't like the chrome anyway so can I use mk2 bumpers on a mk1 car (chrome) combined with a mk1 mtech kit?

yeah i think you can but the mounting points might be different. I have seen pre facelift cars with mtech2 kits, so it can be done but i havent had first hand experience.
