I have a 318i with 195/50 15s on, and when at about 100km/h, feels rather "unstable", as if the rear of the car wants to slide out. Any suggestions, as the car almost feels to light? Thanks.

Firstly have your wheels balanced,

Then look at your rear cross member bushes.

Wheels have been balanced and aligned, so possibly worn bushes?

Like Gwynley said - your rear subframe bushes are probably shot. Not a nice job to do I'm afraid - the one time my car's been to the garage other than at MOT time!

Worth having a look at your front TCA bushes too...

I know the front ones are pretty tired, been told by a mechanic...but I think I need to send her in and have the bushes sorted out...
