does LHD drive exhaust fit RHD?

as above would this work or would the system be the opposite side round if you get what i mean and not marry up with the RHD front manifold?

i dont see why it wont fit.. the system itself should be the same as the manifold wont come out a different side of the engine!!
Got cable ties? Get diffin..

so a lhd drive german box box thru to centre box will fit a rhd car? would the lhd exhaust sit in the same poistion as would a rhd counterpart?

i would say yes!! do you have any pics to compare?

the only difference between lhd and rhd as far as im aware is where the driver sits! The chassis/shells themselves are the same..

I only know about the E30 M3. If this is converted to RHD, then the manifold has to be replaced because it would foul the steering column!!

I wonder if it is the same with other models!

i cant send the pic bt when i look at the lhd drive system with the pipes it looks the "wrong" way round to my system. anyways cheers feck it

the m3's only like that because it has a special tubular exhaust manifold.

Hap look on the onlike ETK parts thing if you need to check, but i'm sure the exhaust manifold's on the same side of the engine.

even though some alpina etc conversions used a different manifold when built as RHD for steering column clearance reasons, the rest of the system should be the same.

lhd exhuast manifolds are complete different than the rhd ones. they are a 2 piece. thus making the downpipe different.

someone elaborate more on the difference between lhd/rhd, prior to this i'd hav said 99.9% sure they were the same, what's different? (details please :D )
