Got a very tidy late m3 [91] been fitted with non standard air con. In process of tidying car up, have all bits to fit all original air con back on but is it worth the hassle, would it affect resale value that much, its got leccy sunroof fitted. Lets have your opinions!

I'd have though an m3 would be worth just as much without any aircon at all - the added weight doesn't really seem to fit with the rest of the car for me... But I guess standard's preferable to retro-fit - just depends how long you think it'll take you & how good the current system is!

I would ask ya how much you want for the bits (whichever you don't keep!) but it's a bit pointless when I have the roof down as soon as it's remotely sunny!

Remove the condensor in front of the rad and the compressor, seal up the coolant lines, and keep until the day comes to sell, I'd say a car that's had something removed wouldn't be worth quite as much as original condition.
