Practical Performance Car mag are running a historical E30 M3 feature next month, and weÔš're looking for a car to use for the photography, quite possibly for the cover. So I thought IÔš'd put a thread up here in case any zoners are interested in having their car featured!
For more info just pm or email me: tobyunna@yahoo.co.uk
Cheers, Toby

Right, thanks very much for all the pms and emails, i didn't realise there were so many m3s on the forum!!
As there's so many people offering their cars i guess the easiest thing is to ask if anyone would be able to get across to the ppc office to do the shoot there - sounds lazy i know but it would be easier for us!!!
The office is near Uppingham, about half an hour's drive east of Leicester centre. I can't remember a postcode off-hand but will put it up later so you can put it in multimap to get a better idea of the location.
thanks again for the many replies!

Karan,
Yep it was my track car at Lakeside. The down side is you have to be carefull which track days you go to as noise is a big issue these days.
Will change cam`s later this year and should see the other side of 300 + BHP @ 9000rpm. Four pots rule.
Toby,
are you going to contribute towards petrol costs to travel up there or
How about a free subscription ??????
Cheers,
Dave.

That Tiger Stripe M3 was amazing!
It sounded "other wordly" when i was in the car park and we could hear it down the main road!

Yeah, sounded brilliant, like a Touring car.
It sounded very similar to the Warsteiner E30 M3 is saw and heard at Silverstone in December like I said at the time.
What a noise

Right, sorry for the delay. the office is in Tinwell and the postcode is PE9 3UF.
If no-one's anywhere near and it's going to be an inconvenience to get there then I'll speak to the ed and see what we can do regarding reimbursement! i'm sure there'll be a few free issues of the mag in it regardless!
and of course the chance to see my rubbish 335i, that must be worth a bit on its own even if just for amusement value

you haven't missed it, i'm just rubbish at organising things!
the article's done and is planned to go in the next issue which is for sale march 31st - so realistically the photography needs to be done within two weeks. the exact day isn't crucial!

I'd be up for it. I wouldn't say mine's a minter though (I'm sure some already offered are!) but it shines up nice and always looks good in the pics.
